The Batman

I'd want to be Bruce Wayne/Batman. He has nearly unlimited wealth, unmatched intelligence, and you can't beat that sexy rasp of a voice. He gets the satisfaction of vigilantism with the knowledge that he's actually accomplishing something. Batman doesn't fear anything under normal conditions (barring Scarecrow's continued imprisonment in Arkham Asylum). His friends are completely badass, not only Justice League, but Nightwing and Robin. He isn't invincible, but with all the supernatural mumbo-jumbo going on, he comes back to life every other decade. He also has to deal with pain. Physical or mental, Batman deals with so much. Whether it's being beaten to a pulp or witnessing death, Batman endures more trauma than most humans do in their entire lives. Yet he perseveres with extreme strength. But perhaps the best skill Batman possesses is that crazy disappearing thing. Someone will be talking to him on the roof of GCPD, look away for two seconds and BOOM. Gone. True American hero.
