If I could be any fictional character I would be Allie Hamilton/Calhoun from The Notebook. This is because she has what every girl so desperately wants: to find the man of her dreams who will wait for her and love her even after she is gone. Allie met Noah when she was relatively young, about fifteen years old, and even though their relationship broke because they were from two different worlds, he wrote her 365 letters, waited for her until she came back, and continued to love her and made great efforts to keep their love alive even when she got Alzheimer’s. I also choose Allie because even though she was already engaged to Lon when she went back and saw Noah, he did not make her feel inferior about her decision and she was able to make the right one, which many times does not happen in reality. Even though she is a fictional character, I still wish that one day I will be able to find a man like Noah Calhoun and have a love as passionate as theirs.
