The New Ruler of Gondor

Aragorn of the Lord of the Rings is the epitome of a hero. He has the cool weapon, the kingdom, and the beautiful elf as a wife. Aragorn demonstrates the ability to not only beat back Sauron's armies but he also restores the kingdom of Gondor to its once esteemed heritage. He leads the Fellowship of the Ring after Gandalf is killed by the Balroc. He is a part of the defending force that protects Helm's Deep against the massive army of Sauraman. Aragorn is a part of nearly every major battle before the third age of Middle Earth. While his military and diplomatic prowess are unmatched, Aragorn also manages to secure the love of Arwyn, the beautiful daughter of Elrond. Had Aragorn not been part of the Fellowship of the Ring, Frodo would never have been able to destroy the ring in Mordor. As with any hero, Aragorn does have one flaw: he will do anything to save others before himself. He nearly died from saving Eowyn while Rohan made the trip to Helm's Deep. Due to Aragorn's devotion, military skill, and beautiful wife, I would choose to be him over any other character from literature, movies, and other forms of media.
