Choices

Somewhere in the universe, a studious youngster is reminded of a blog post that he must do if he does not want his grade dropping much lower. After much studying he decides he can either write about how he is too busy visiting colleges to worry about this, about how this 'homework' ruins his spring break, or about the universe itself and its ever expanding quality; he chooses the latter.
At this very moment, somewhere in the universe: The universe is expanding at some stupid rate of speed and needs to slow down; everything is getting too far apart. So, logically, (if one believes in the Big Bang Theory) everything that we have ever known started as one seed. This seed was the first star in the universe capable of producing carbon (the element essential to life as we know it). When the large seed star supernova'd it got dispersed every which way and because the universe has been expanding these seed parts are just so far away. It is almost illogical to assume that earth has been the only seed to have sprouted; somewhere else in the universe, a carbon atom has been struck by cosmic rays and collected hydrogen and iron and other things have happened that are more complex than my small brain wants to comprehend-creation of a new Earth.
At this very moment, somewhere in the galaxy: someone doesn't want to believe that an identical Earth exists because of a primeval seed. This person should think about how the universe is expanding constantly, and some think at an exponential rate, and that the universe started as one speck. The universe has almost expanded to infinite its original size. Without a solid reference point it is safe to say the universe is expanding at an infinite speed at this point, stars get formed with the simple interaction of atoms, so new starts are created at an infinite rate, each star with, feasibly, a new solar system. The odds are not conducive of, but are definitely not against there being an identical earth being at an identical phase of carbon based life, with identical countries and languages; it COULD happen, somewhere in the infinite area of the universe. The human brain cannot comprehend a billion of anything, let alone infinite; its aggravating how we are not designed for stellar greatness.
At this very moment, somewhere in the galaxy: an identical Ryan could be writing a blog, complaining about having to write a blog over spring break.
