secrets, secrets, are no fun, but definitely should not be shared with everyone

Secrets. Not just those of others, but even one’s own are burdensome and can become a struggle that pull you down as you move on with your life. One could easily spill secrets, especially if they are not their own, but many a times it is for the greater good to keep some secrets- like those that create more harm when revealed and can at least protect someone’s emotional stability while they are hidden. There are secrets that I wish I had never been aware of, even if they did involve me, because it really is true that ignorance is bliss. That is, partially, why some secrets should be kept and not revealed, because what good does bittering someone’s life and instigating feelings of hatred and despise for another when one could stay mum and avoid the “sticky situation” of the after mass altogether? I would much rather carry a small burden like a secret that involves my friend, than to reveal that secret to him/her and watch them struggle with the even greater emotional burden that morphs from it.
