I’m Jennifer Sato and this is officially my first time writing a blog/diary type thing. And unless this was an assignment, I probably wouldn't start one since…
1) I’m not a Kardashian who writes about every little thing for millions to see.
2) I don’t have time.
3) I have bad memory and I barely remember things.
With that said, this is my attempt to entertain others by talking entirely about myself.
This summer seemed to go by so fast and now that it’s over, a lot of things have changed. I volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital in the Pharmacy Department and although I didn't have tons of fun, I got a boat load of community service hours for it. I also went on vacation around the Carolinas but Outer Banks, NC was my favorite. It was so pretty, not crowded, and I definitely plan on going back.
But the big change was that one of my family members left while another one arrived. My older brother Chris left for North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It’s kind of weird not hearing his annoying alarm clock that blasted techno music so early in the morning but by no means am I crying every night over him leaving. (kidding, miss you brother!)
BUT, I got a puppy!
Lulu Hanako Sato is a Yorkie-Poo and the new addition to my family. Her mom Lady, is a white miniature poodle while her dad Little Man, is a Yorkshire Terrier. She definitely looks like a mix because her body is like poodle, especially the shape of her face. But she looks like a Yorkie and all her feet are brown while most of her body is a darker color. She’ll be 3 months next week and about 4.5 pounds but will probably grow to be about 8. My younger brother and I were originally planning on getting a Goldendoodle but turns out, they’re a bit too big for my taste. I was traumatized by a ginormous German Shepherd when I was young and about 11 years later, I’m still not over it.
Lulu is the first dog I’ve ever had and I am absolutely in love with her. She’s so adorable and exactly like a baby. She loves to play, sleep, and of course, cry. Next weekend, she’ll get her final vaccination shot so then we’ll finally be able to take her outside to play! I cannot wait and it’s amazing to see how many pictures and videos my family has taken since she’s been here.
Besides all the changes, I had a great summer and am already in the process of planning my next summer. I plan on going to France, England, Ireland, Wales, Netherlands, and Belgium for 20 days and cannot wait!
The picture above is one I took of Lulu in her room.
A website I find useful is www.hulu.com because I never have time to watch shows I like on weekdays and when I forget to DVR it, Hulu has them uploaded.
