Introductions and the Like

Hey all, I'm Gene. It seems that I have found a way to make it to Junior year at Henry Clay High School, so here's to prosperity of education!

But that's not why I'm here, is it? I'm here to tell about myself, apparently. So let's get started. I am 16 years old, and most of what I do in my life relates to music. I play guitar, piano, and several other instruments (although not quite as adeptly as the first two),enjoy using computers and the internet, and play video games quite a bit. The least provocative website that I visit the most is either facebook or youtube, although there are many more that rank higher on that list.

My favorite types of music tend to fluctate from time to time, but they mostly center around the metal genre. Currently, I am an extreme conossiuer of Norwegian Black Metal and Ambient Drone/Doom Metal. My favorite bands at the moment are Emperor, Burzum, and Sunn O))). Pic related, it's the album I'm listening to right now.

I am also decently interested in politics. Before I became affiliated with any party, however, I had to develop a personal philosophy, and currently my number one philosophy is to be be skeptical of absolutely everything, but at the same time, be somewhat accepting of everything. I like to challenge new ideas. And for that reason, my decision points have led me to join the Libertarian Party.

This past Summer, I did a lot of nothing. Most notably, I went to Naples, Florida, although it wasn't to great of a vacation spot. But hey, that's just what I thought. It may be your favorite. Sorry about that.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to enjoying this upcoming school year and making high grades, so hopefully that will work out nicely for me. My future plans as of now don't seem to have much of a direction, but I'm currently considering attending Miami University or UVA for college.
