Hello. I’m Shayna and I’m finally getting around to posting in this blog. Anyways, we’re supposed to write about ourselves, and I’m not exactly sure what to write, so… Yeah.
One thing you should know about me is that I love band. I play alto saxophone in the marching band and jazz band and I play steel drums in the spring in steel band. During the fall, and marching band season, band takes priority over everything else (my parents say that’s a bad thing, but oh well). I’m not the best saxophonist, but I hope to be section leader next year so that I can help the new marchers without getting yelled at all the time.
I also enjoy baking. I like to make cakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, cupcakes, pies, and most recently, pretzels. I mostly bake for my friends and my church youth group, but sometimes I’ll get a request for a cake for a company party or a birthday party and I’ll get paid for it. I hope to be a baker when I grow up, after culinary school and UK.
Uhm….. My favorite website is http://www.youtube.com/. I love watching funny videos and sometimes I watch the music videos by my favorite bands, too. I also watch old marching competitions to learn how I can improve at marching.
