My name is Bram. That is all... (this is where I would normally end my blog, but today I shall go on).

I'm just another kid in school that wants to succeed and be happy. I am good at math and, to a lesser extent, science. I've always found it kind of funny that we, as a society, tend to dislike math and do not mind telling anyone that we are unable to do it. Think about all of the people that will brag that they can't do math when the subject is brought up. And this is acceptable. On the other hand, if a person were to brag that he is unable to read, most people would view that person as stupid and uneducated, even if he could do math, which apparently most people cannot. Fair?

I am very into music (I know, creative, right?) and play both the bass guitar and the upright bass. I play in both the jazz band and the chamber orchestra at Henry Clay, and enjoy both. As for music I listen to in my spare time, it's mostly metal and jazz music. Currently the band I listen to the most is the synth rock band Orgy. Since I don't really have anything else to say, I shall instead talk about one of my recent dreams. I dreamed that my right hand ran away. Having only a hand and a little nub, I was unable to pursue my dream of being the bass player for the band Metallica. This was disheartening to me, so I joined the military (I was apparently able to fight even though I had only one hand). I went into battle against giant lobsters that were trying to destroy the human race and died. That was a really dumb dream.
