Now I've made a bad first impression

I don't normally wait this long, I swear. I mean, I've been at my computer nearly all day, so why did I just now decide to sit here and blog about it?

The first thing I've noticed is there's no Comic Sans font on here. So I guess I can't annoy the hell out of some people that are so insulted by even the thought of somebody, somewhere, utilizing a font built-in to most text editing software.

But I'm here to talk about myself aren't I? My name is Dylan French, I am 16, and believe it or not I attend Henry Clay High School. All of my teachers this year are nice, except for Mr. Logsdon. I heard he's going to make us write blogs this year. What sort of freak wants to sit there and blog?

I enjoy spending time on computers and playing video games mostly, conventionally geeky things. I'm hoping to enter some field of engineering, preferably software-based, but I've always been on the fence about future goals. Maybe it's that latent fear of commitment all men supposedly have? Recently I've begun to truly appreciate music. Whereas before, I was sort of that passive music-listener, who chimed in occasionally with "oh yeah, that's that one band, isn't it?" now I've sort of made it into a game to know more about various bands I hear, and try to guess song titles on the radio.

As for this year's goal, my philosophy is the same as last year- procrastinate for a good while, then give it your all. I guess I just like to lump my fun and work together in different groups, like how I still eat systematically, usually one food at a time. "I could do everything Saturday then relax all day Sunday, or I could squeeze it all together at the end of my weekend." It works though, and I never make a half-effort on work.

Whoop-de-doo, there's my blog. But, oh wait, I'm missing a hyperlink or something. Enjoy this look at musical history in that case.
