The Longest Day!

Hey, my name is Makayla Uebelhor. It's a Saturday night and I am completely exhausted. I started off my day by arriving at KBA at 7:15 and then played six volleyball games. I play both basketball and volleyball but am currently devoting the majority of my time to volleyball. But it's worth it. Today we won first place in gold after a long (over 13 hours), nerve wrecking day. We walked away with a trophy and some new bruises. One of our goals for this year is to make it further in state than we did last year, meaning we go to the finals.

In my family I have two siblings and two dogs, My sister is a junior in college and my brother is a freshman at Henry Clay. My favorite dog, yes I do have a favorite, is called Margo. We got her from the pound my sixth grade year. Whenever someone ask her age I tend to say about five. It seems like no time has passed since we first got her but in reality, she's about eight. My other dog, Gretel, is a puppy and really likes destoying things (such as my shoes). We originally started out as fostering her for a vet clinic my sister works at. They soon found her a home but Greta and the new owner's dog did not get along so we ended up getting her back.

Whenever I find any free time, my favorite sight to visit is www.facebook.com. Although this seems very cliche, it is definately true. One of the main reasons I use my computer has gradually become homework. Doing homework is like a never ending cycle. It seems like I can never get caught up and always have more to do. My typical day is basically go to school, go to practice, do homework, and go to sleep. Without the weekend I don't think I could make it. It gives me time to catch up on much needed sleep, like I'm about to go do. Bye!!
