Still unsure about how to post... I guess thats technologies fault.

If I was born in 1974 rather then in 1994 I’d be perfectly fine with the change. Although there would be different technology, cultural differences would make up for any technological loss. Despite the fact that I wouldn’t have an ipod, additional exposure to the music of the seventies and eighties is a reasonable exchange. In addition, the release of the Walkman in 1979 would allow for the same portability of an ipod (admittedly with a limited song selection) furthering my acceptance of these decades. Furthermore, since phones (admittedly larger ones) existed, the lack of cell phones wouldn’t be a major inconvenience; however, the absence of Internet is the most daunting loss. The inability to access the Internet as well as the change in video games would be odd to live with permanently. Without such, other interests including comics would take a more predominant role, and luckily the seventies and eighties had some of the best comic books of all time.

If I truly had to adjust to a different era while knowing about the future then the political ineptitude of the last decade would daunting.
