gotta loveeeee meh ipod bruhh

I use my iPod whenever I’m in my room, because I have a speaker system that has speakers in different parts of my room for a “surround sound”, whenever I go on a run, whenever I’m in my parents’ cars (since they have some cool connecting cable systems just for iPods) going from here to there, and on long car rides (with ear buds). I wish I could listen to it while I drive, but since my car doesn’t have a USB port, I have to resort to the old fashioned way: CD’s (hopefully that’ll change soon though, since I found a converter-type thing at Best Buy though!!)

My perfect playlist for just plain enjoyment would have:

· “Float On” (Modest Mouse)- I like this song because it has great instrumentals and its a fairly optimistic song that targets the bright side to every situation and to life.

· “The Good Times are Killing Me” (Modest Mouse)- This song reminds me of one of my good friends, because a couple of years ago he was singing it and after I listened to it a couple of times I began to like it more and more (not the words or the message, but the instrumentals and how it sounds)

· “Knock Knock” (Mac Miller)- This song is a bit crazy, but it reminds me of my best friend from camp (who always listened to this song), so I guess you could say I like it for nostalgic reasons!

· “Girlfriend” (Phoenix)- When I first heard this song, I thought it was alright, but I didn't put too much thought into it, until I heard it in a movie and began listening to it (and this band) more and more.

· “ Kids“ (MGMT)- This song is part of a genre of music called Indie Rock, which is a little less mainstream. If you read the lyrics, they are a bit different, but the instruments and background music are really interesting! I have liked this song since the first time I heard it, and a couple of other artists have used clips from this song.

(and then since I personally cannot have a playlist with just 5 songs)

· “Weekend Wars” (MGMT)

· “Crazy Beautiful Life” (Ke$ha)

· “Do I” (Luke Bryan)

· “Time to Pretend” (MGMT)

· “No Sleep” (Wiz Kalifa ft. Mac Miller)

· “Electric Feel” (MGMT)

· “Redemption Song” (Bob Marley)

· “Island in the Sun” (Weezer)

"The Youth" (MGMT)

"Bumpy Ride" (Mohombi)

· “Chiquitita” (ABBA)

(I would add a boat-load of more songs, but since my iTunes library isn’t working and I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head, this will have to suffice.)
