absolute?

Could anyone ever really consider something an absolute good or evil? in our twisted and backwards world where people say their God (or Allah) told them to murder thousands of innocent people. and this isn't a knock on the religion, there are plenty of Muslim people who are perfectly "good", and cannot be grouped in with others that are presumably "bad". nearly every person alive is good in some ways and bad in others. Mel Gibson, who at times was thought to be an anti-semetic, drunken, rude fool, then turns around and makes a wonderful, heartful, gripping spiritual movie passion of the christ. maybe not the greatest example, but you get the picture. every one of us exhibits facets of good, and also at times facets of evil. to say someone is absolutely evil, or absolutly good, is almost impossible. the only absolutes in this world when it comes to good and evil is God and the Devil. the devil is evil, with absolutly no redeeming qualities, and God is absolutly good, without a single blemish. people fall short of both God and the Devil himself, so we are no absolutes.
