Alexander Graham Bell

This is Alexander Graham Bell. He is the inventor of the first telephone. On March 10, 1876, he made the first phone call in history. This photograph is him talking into that telephone, probably unaware that he is making huge strides in communication.

Interestingly enough, Bell also coined the greeting "hello" instead of the previously popular phrase "halloo".

This piece of technology has shaped our nation in so many ways, mostly for the good. Although some would argue that the average teenager's grammar has become atrocious.
