This is a photo of a mass grave at the Bergen Belsen concentration camp during world war II. This photo is shocking to anyone who sees it. To really see the horrors committed by the nazi party during world war II is a powerful experience. While most people have been informed about the atrocities committed, seeing this picture really makes you understand just how terrible it really was. Especially for people during this time period who didn't know the extent of the crimes committed by the nazi's this photo would've been incredibly eye opening. The suffering of the people in the camps was unthinkable. These near skeletons of bodies is honestly disturbing, and creates feelings that few pictures can.
