Technology Hates Me

Technology hates me, and sometimes I hate it. For example, this weekend my monitor broke. I couldn't use my computer until a new one was purchased. You can imagine how ecstatic my parents were. Since I do not understand anything about computer purchasing, I got to "research" for a couple hours until I found an old one in the storage room. It was a great way to waste time!

As much as I think technology has changed the world in a positive light, I must say I hate online homework (physics) and computer textbooks. I am the kind of person who needs to write out math problems in order to understand them and I really like the concept of partial credit, but online homework hinders that. If your rounding is off, or you forget units, the entire problem is counted wrong. Computer textbooks are simply annoying. I can only study US History in a location where I have a computer, and that severely limits my choices. And with the long readings we are assigned, my eyes definitely get tired. One can only stare at a computer screen for so many hours! But, thankfully, I won a book in the "textbook lottery" so I won't have to deal with it anymore!
Although I currently use a PC, I am an apple fan. I've had numerous iPods and I currently use an iPad and iPhone. I LOVE them. I love music, so having the portability makes it even better. Right now, I have been listening to Foster the People's relatively new album "Torches." It is my current obsession and I reccomend it to anyone and everyone. They're best known for the song "Pumped up Kicks" but the rest of the CD is much better in my opinion. They're my workout music, my getting ready music. right now they're my everything music!
