Burgoo
Good vs. Evil. The battle that will rage on forever. Where one evil person disappears another is there to jump in his spot. Back to the cavemen there have been symbols of good and evil. Our symbols are usually of the extremes: dark and light, white and black, right and wrong. There are two quotes that I think applies both ways. One is "Not everybody is perfect." or "He can't be all bad." Two simple yet meaningful quotes. The former seems to apply to the good side of this battle. We all commit sins and we all have done wrong, but does that really mean anyone who has done wrong is wicked? Being good lies in intentions and in the heart. Two things that no one else can see. People may judge and people may call others sinister but the only person that truly knows whether someone is good or evil is our Lord. Now, because someone has lied, stolen, hurt, or even murdered, does that truly honestly make someone "evil?" To our true Judge of good or evil all sins carry the same weight. But, we are gifted with His grace and forgiven. So no matter how bad someone may seem, I think the one true evil is Lucifer himself.
