Why I Love Technology

I couldn't possibly understand why anybody wouldn't want to use technology in their everyday life; it's made my life ridiculously easy. I don't have to travel for a day or use the postal service to send a message. I don't have to go to a club or buy a record to listen to music. The video games that I play aren't limited to Space Invaders and Pong anymore. Thanks to the internet, I can connect with anybody in the world.

Out of all of the technologies that have made my live absolutely great, the biggest contributor would definitely have to be Facebook. It's event planner and chat has made distribution of information extremely simple for both local and international events, such as the World's Largest Water Balloon Fight that was held at UK. Had it not been for the Facebook event, not nearly as many people as the 6,000 that showed up would have arrived. It's also provided a stronger social connection with me and many of the people that I appreciate and connect with currently.

Had it not been for Facebook, I wouldn't be friends with nearly as many people that I know. That concept translates over to the other devices and technologies that I use, be it automobiles, cell phones, or televisions. Technology has made distribution of information much easier.
