Fear

Other than the fear of losing someone you care about, which I believe would be what most people have as their biggest fear, mine would definitely be the dark. It's not so bad if I'm against a wall or in a corner so that I know what is behind me but if I am in the middle of a room or outside with no light it really freaks me out. It's also only scary if I am by myself, only if their less afraid than I am that is. It has gotten much better now that I am older but this is still the reason I will refuse to sit through a scary movie of any sort. It's not that it's scary when I'm watching it, it's when I get home and turn off the light at night that I am unable to sleep. I realize there is no reason for this irrational fear and everything is make believe but I can't help it.
