October 6th 105 BCE

So I was just determined to use October sixth as my date in this blog because it is my birthday...nothing really happened on october sixth other then my birth and trivial things. Wikipedia did walk me over to the Battle of Arausio, which was a Roman battle between Rome and Rome. I chose to blog about this even though because Rome was one of the biggest and most advanced nations of that time and I am convinced that Rome would have taken over the world if it weren't so stupid and corrupt and such. But this wasn't too important of a battle, it just is a symbol of how a superpower can easily destroy itself. This Battle started because this Quintus Servilius Caepio guy was elected in charge of something and this other general wasn't and he was mad and started this battle. The point isnt that i dont know anything about this battle, the point is I know the outcome, and that is that Rome has fallen, and this battle happened on my birthday.
