One of my defining ideologies is efficiency. Getting things done in the shortest amount of time possible is something that I strive to do everyday. Whether its homework, walking home from school, or eating dinner the faster the better. If I can do things quickly then I have more time to spend on what I enjoy rather than things I'm required to do for school/chores. However, I do have to balance my desire to do everything quickly with the need to do it well. This mainly comes into play with homework. Its always a balancing act between doing it quickly and doing it thoroughly. While it would be nice to be able to spend hours perfecting each assignment, its just not worth it. Most of the time my teachers, having to look at hundreds of other assignments, will hardly even look at my work. And as long as I know what I could've done better then I don't see the need to actually do it. But, if its an important essay or assignment I usually spend time revising it a reasonable amount.
