I'm really glad I got my computer back in time to check whether or not we had a blog post this week.

Driving

Now, while I'm sure that I'd love to expand on every single topic that I've written down and exactly why I've written it down, I'll just stick to basics and tell a story for sake of time and so that there's not twenty pages worth of text by the time I've finished. This is the reason as to why "Driving" is on my list.

On Friday, October 14th, I may have topped Calvin's story of getting mugged. I had a gun pointed directly at me while driving down Armstrong Mill. I was on the intersection between Man O' War and Armstrong, heading towards Hartland, when I looked into my rear-view mirror
to find what looked to be a psychotic man pointing a handgun towards my car. To increase the terror that I felt, I could see that he was muttering some very unintelligible words, which I assumed to be the man's own personal soliloquies. I was at a loss at what to do, seeing as I couldn't go anywhere during a red stoplight. But as soon as that light turned green, I shotgunned it straight down Armstrong Mill, going maybe 60 miles per hour. The scariest part? I would periodically look into my mirror to find that he was tailgating me for the majority of the time. At the entrance to Hartland on Kenesaw Rd, however, after I turned right, he went straight, and that was the end of that fiasco. I'm lucky to be able to say that I got out of that, as unpredictable as the gun-pointer appeared. I can only hope that whoever he may have had a run-in within the past two days can say the same.
