It's a bit ironic how we use war to end conflict. It's frightening how quickly we resort to violence when there is always another way to end problems peacefully. Personally, I don't believe there is a time for war, but it's inevitable. Why do we purposefully create fear and threat in other countries and sacrifice the lives of so many merely for our greed for power? I think wars are unjust because it is not worth losing so many men and destroying our land. People in this world life in fear because of the constant threat of their country being attacked. However, since it is inevitable, certain times do call for desperate measures, so when another country launches an attacks, I believe countries do have a responsibility to go to war. In the world we live in, more peaceful alternatives, such as diplomatic compromises, would never work because violence seems to have become the only way countries resolve their conflicts now.
