War is used to preserve values of a certain person, or a group of persons. In the case of our country it is to preserve freedom. Men and women both go out in the world to preserve freedom for the united states, and the people under terror throughout the world. A lot of people question why people join the military, or go out to fight in the first place. For a lot of families it is a tradition in the family, or someone trying for a new start. No matter the reason, the outcome after the war is the same, comradeship. A lot of wars are fought for a lot of different reasons, but it takes two sides to fight it, and a lot of times it is to protect that man right beside you.
