War

"War" is one of the most fundamentally natural processes on Earth. Wars have been taking place since life was first created. Everything is at war. When viruses and bacteria attack our bodies antibodies fight back to protect us. Foxes are at war with rabbits since the foxes need food. While we would all like to say that war is immoral and should be avoided at all costs, that just isn't how the world works. As long as there are opposing viewpoints there will be disagreements that will lead to conflict. These conflicts are wars, whether violent or not, and are unavoidable. I don't believe though that this means violent wars are inevitable in most situations. Diplomacy can be just as effective as nuclear missiles and in many cases more so. But, if the enemy cannot be won over with words violent wars can be effective in protecting ones livelihood.
