Although I am very familiar with the process of moving- I moved 9 times by age 11- I have been living in Lexington for almost 6 years, which is the longest amount of time I have spent in one place, so it is becoming a little hard for me to think about going away in less than 2 years. Since I moved here right before 6^th grade, I have made bonds with those around me that I had not made in previous locations (in part because of my growing social and mental maturity but also because I have spent enough time here to do so). In a year and a half, I will be taking (what I consider to be) a risk by going away from my family for the rest of my life. This time, it will be different than all the others because being by myself will most likely be difficult.
